Description: This is a one and a half story wood frame structure,
with vinyl siding and a rock face cement foundation. The roofline is side gabled, with a gable
dormer on the front. The front roofline
slopes over a full width front porch.
Square tapered wood columns on red brick pillars support the porch roof. All windows are double hung, with the upper
pane divided into four vertical lights.

The McCormick’s were the first residents, and lived there until at least
the 1940’s. Bridget was the widow of
John McCormick. Cora McCormick was
secretary for Williams J. Willson. Mattie McCormick was the principal at Van
Buren School.
